What happens when two adventure-seeking globetrotters decide to settle down and get married? These two wouldn’t know. After meeting on a boat off the coast of Nha Trang, Vietnam, in 2008, Kristen and Ville found in each other cohorts for a wandering, unconventional life of travel, work, and partnership in the absolute truest sense of the word.

Kristen

Venturing from the farm to the great unknown, Kristen set out to experience the world as a hungry, young nomad with nothing but a backpack and a solid pair of shoes. Traveling light and always on the move, she found time to study and learn new skills along the way, at one time working as a wild land firefighter, a teacher, a real estate agent, and eventually an international speaker and author. 

Ville

 A true Scandinavian, Ville sees opportunities where others see obstacles. Whether it’s frozen, unforgiving terrain or long hours toiling on the open sea, there’s nothing this former pro-soccer player turned corporate suit turned epically adventuring documentary filmmaker isn’t up for.
